Founder Jeff Flathau has an extensive resume beginning as a dishwasher in the restaurant business, moving to waiter, bartender, manager, and ultimately ownership, having worked for some of the top restaurant chains in the industry. He began his catering business at a young age and has over 25 years experience in the catering field. He has served thousands, which include George W. Bush, Bob Dole, and Donald Trump, just to name a few.

Flathau’s Fine Foods was an offspring of Jeff’s catering business. Jeff and his wife, Heather, built a vibrant and successful gourmet food manufacturing business that serves all 50 states and many other countries, providing award winning cheese straws, gourmet cookies, and candy.

Flathau’s Fine Foods YouTube channel was the brain child of Tyler Flathau, who also works in The Family Businesses. “That’s the Way the Cookie Crumbles” provides interviews with people from all parts of the food industry and also features a cooking segment on Formal Dishes. Check out an episode!
